Check out the stunning assortment of statement rings for spring 2014 handcrafted by jeweler Jorge Adeler.
“Fine jewelry represents ‘feel good’ emotions. It’s an investment to commiserate or celebrate a happy occasion. We want our jewelry to literally feel good too,” says Valentina Adeler Armour, daughter to Jorge Adeler, founder of Adeler Jewelers.
Standing in a light-filled suit at The London NYC, Valentina presented the spring/summer ’14 collection and encouraged the room of editor’s to feel the natural and edgy surfaces of each ring. “We believe you don’t need to embellish a gem, you just have to frame it,” Valentina adds while holding up a dark pyritized slate ring with naturally embedded golden zircon flecks (pictured left).
The 14k gold frames themselves on Adeler statement rings create a feel good experience. Turn an Adeler ring over, you will be delighted to discover intricate carved under galleries in glossy or hammered finishes as well as surprise diamonds nestled into corners.
Sunny hue diamond rings, appropriately titled Rock Candy certainly aroused the senses. Our favorite was a cheery yellow gold lemon quartz ring with diamonds (pictured center). For your pleasure, these statement rings bridge the gap between fine jewelry and costume, while transitioning seamlessly into day to night.
Perhaps no gem feels as comforting to don as the traditional pearl. Adeler has become known for their pearls, but, ironically, for modernizing them. A 14kt ikecho pearl ring accented with diamonds boasted a lustrous finish with sumptuous color formations. Like all of Adeler rings, it begged to be felt and flaunted.
