With a longstanding history of fusing music and fashion, lifestyle brand Diesel showcases their latest musical collaboration with an in store performance by Little Boots.
Diesel transformed their SoHo, New York store into a full-fledged house of music for sensation Little Boots. British electro dance pop-star performed songs from her debut album, Nocturnes, the day before its US release. Q+A UK stood excitedly front row for the show, and fell in love with the blonde rocker’s Diesel streetwear, which perfectly complemented her vixen stage persona. As a lifestyle brand, “The fusion between music and fashion is not a new initiative for Diesel,” said Tyson Murphy, Diesel’s Men’s Press & Publicity Manager. Little Boots embodies an ‘organic realness,’ Murphy added, that truly emblems the Diesel spirit. For this event, Diesel partnered with Activaire, an audio branding agency that helps reinforce a brand’s DNA by linking it with a representative playlist or performer. “Personally my fashion has always been inspired by my music,” says Little Boots, aka Victoria Hesketh. “So I think it’s great brands like Diesel value music so much and understand this relationship.”
